This research conducted by Harvard University is the first study that paves the way for the development of autonomous and adaptive artificial creatures able to process multiple sensory inputs and produce complex behaviors. In other words, cyborgs.

CHALLENGES
The goal was to translate the complexity behind this project through simple and clear graphic design. I achieved this by structuring the design into 3 different parts that explain the composition, the movement dynamics and the instruction given to the cyborg. The illustration has been widly used in order to divulgate the paper and it has been published on the sector leading journal Science.

PUBLICATION & PRESS
The research and consequently the illustration has been published on Science, the world leading journal for academic and scientific research. Moreover, it has been featured on more than fourty national and international newspapers such as BBC, New York Times, La Repubblica, National Geographic, Focus, El Mundo and many more.
